Geek But Chic Vol. 1

Hi Loves!

I'm starting a new series called Geek But Chic! 

You already know I love fashion but I'm also a big nerd at heart. I like getting lost in another world that doesn't involve the reality of 9-5 and characters that can touch your soul and make you think you too can be a badass, mad scientist or can save the world.

Again, like I said, I'm a Nerd.
But we're all friends here so no judgment right? Yes? Great!

My all-time favorite movie is Star Wars (Basically all of the old ones and Force Awakens.) I grew up watching Star Wars with my dad. I'm his only kid so being a girl and him being a grown man as he says, "Needed to find a way to bond with me."
My favorite characters are the Droids, C3PO & R2-D2.
I mean, Yoda is up there too.
"Do or do not. There is no try."

I also enjoy Stranger Things, DC Comics etc.
Honestly, the list could go on as its own blog post. 

To start off this series I want to share this beautiful Star Wars C3PO Satin Jacket from Her Universe. This pays homage to the fortieth anniversary of Star Wars! The Back has a gorgeous embroidery of R2-D2 and C-3PO on Tattooine from New Hope. I love the color blocking with the gold sleeves against the black bodice of the jacket.
The Material is a really good quality and doesn't easily snag.
I honestly have no complaints about this jacket! Definitely one of my favorites!

You can keep your look casual like I did here or even dress it up for a night out with a pair of heels and a red lip.
